I have too many templates to fit on one screen, how do I navigate through them easier?
You could use the following approach:
- Assume you have dozens of templates, and hate to have to browse through a long template list (worse, to find the way on 20/01/01 for any editing!). Try to keep template list no more than two screens worth: about 20 "active" templates.
- If you need a new template, move a currently unused one [+1 day] if it is a call, [-1 day] if a regular event template (unused To-Do to templates could be stored in--and created from--a "contents" outliner, e.g. ShadowPlan or Progect). Similarly, you could store your long term goals as [+1 week], To-Dos(due on 20/1/8),and the useless templates you don't want to trash, in case of… , on [-1 week].
- Another possibility is to use the standard Palm trick of Grafiti-ing the first letter of the template once you're looking at your template list.
