Every release of Datebk is completely self-contained; no patches are released, only complete versions of the program. If you are running any version of Datebk, you can upgrade to any other version by installing the new version - you never need to install intervening releases. As Jeffrey Zimmerman said: "It's not like saving the whales. You don't have to collect all of them."
If you are installing Datebk for the first time, you can use any release, although it is strongly recommended that you use a stable release version, not a preview since the previews have not passed extensive quality control. Having said that though, Datebk's preview or beta releases are very stable, and any bugs are generally minor and are fixed quickly.
