I have several appointments/events that I do at frequent irregular intervals. How do I enter these appointments?
When the cursor is on the appointment, go to the Details dialog, tap on the Repeat selector, and then tap on the "Irr. Schedule" button. Datebk displays the date picker. Every date you tap is then automatically copied from the original entry, so you can enter six random days in the current month with just six taps. When you are done, tap the Cancel button.
The only caveat is that the copy of the event is made of the original event and does not include any pending changes that you may have made in the details dialog prior to invoking the repeat feature, so make sure your details are set first and exit out of the dialog and then go back into it to make sure they are permanently recorded, before creating the irregular repeats.
Finally, remember that these are SEPARATE events with no relation to each other, so you cannot manipulate them as a group as you can with a regularly scheduled item. However, you can usually find them quickly enough by going to the list view and filtering it for a specific icon or text string in the description field. (Datebk6 allows you to filter for up to four icons at once. Datebk6 also allows you to change the date and/or time for multiple appointments at once.)
