Find Function for Appointments

I couldn't find a 'find' function for appointments. I can see the ability to text filter items in the split screen for addresses etc., but not in the general appointment fields. Is there a reason?

There are two ways to 'find' an appointment:

1. Use the system's 'find' function. Or even better: use FindHack, which allows you to limit the search to the current application.
2. Use the 'list' view (the last button in your views) and use the filter function provided in the Options | Preference dialog (command R).

The List View in Datebk allows you to filter appointments (and todos) by icon. Datebk6 allows you to specify up to four icons for filtering at once.
